Union Station is located in the Iowa Memorial Union.

Union Station is a food court featuring a variety of items including Godfather's Pizza, Erbert and Gerbert Sandwich Shop, Oasis Falafel products, made-to-order sushi, chicken tenders and wings. Vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free items are also available at this location. 

Union Station is cashless: we accept dining dollars, Hawkeye Dollars, UI Charge, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.

FYI: Union Station will be closing as part of the IMU renovation beginning March 13, 2026.

Getting around

There are several ways to get around campus, the Iowa City area, and even get out of town. University of Iowa Parking and Transportation provides more information about Cambus, parking, bikes, ridesharing, safe rides, and more.

  • Walk to Kinnick Stadium: 20 minutes
  • Walk to downtown: 9 minutes
  • Cambus: Blue, Red and Interdorm routes arrive every 10-12 minutes during business hours.
