Looking to treat your friend, family member, or an Iowa City visitor to a meal in the market places? Purchase a dining gift card! In order to purchase a gift card you will need to visit select UI dining locations and make your selection in-person.
How It Works
You can purchase a gift card from a cashier stand at select UI Dining retail locations, Hancher Auditorium, and online using the link below.
Gift cards may be purchased in person at the following locations:
- Clinton Street Market, Burge Residence Hall
- Union Station, Iowa Memorial Union
- EMRB Café, Eckstein Medical Research Building
- Food for Thought Café, Main Library
- Stanley Café, 2nd floor Hancher Auditorium

Gift cards are redeemable in all UI Dining retail and market place locations and Hancher Auditorium concession stands.
Gift cards may be loaded with any dollar amount between $5.00 and $50.00.
Gift card balances can be checked at all point-of-sale stations in University Dining.
Gift cards are not redeemable in vending machines, residence hall laundry facilities, UIHC dining and retail facilities, dining locations on campus run by a third party, or the Showcase gift shop at Hancher Auditorium. Additionally, gift cards cannot be used to pay for preorders at Hancher Auditorium.
Funds associated with this gift card may be used for purchases of food and beverages at designated UI dining locations and Hancher concessions on campus. Unused funds are not refunded or redeemable for cash. Cards and the associated funds deposited on the cards will not be refunded or replaced if lost, stolen, destroyed, altered, or used without permission.
