Cancelling Your Meal Plan
Only returning residents or transfer students in rooms with a university-supplied kitchen are permitted to cancel their meal plans for either or both semesters. The cancelation deadlines are August 31, 2018 for the fall semester and January 25, 2019 for the spring semester.
Students transferring to a room with a university supplied kitchen after the cancelation deadline have 5 business days from the effective date of the transfer to change or cancel a meal plan. After the 5 days, the plan is a binding contract for the remainder of the semester. Students who cancel their residence hall contract will also have their meal plan cancelled. All cancelations are subject to contract cancelation guidelines. Students who cancel their room contract may request a meal plan. All changes, cancelations, or requests resulting from a room contract cancelation can be made online through the link below.
Modifying your Meal Plan
Changes may be made online starting August 10, 2018 through the first several weeks of each semester. For the fall semester August 31, 2018 is the deadline, after which no modifications can be made to your meal plan for the fall semester. January 25, 2019 is the deadline for spring semester meal plan modifications.
If moving from a room with a university supplied kitchen to a room without a kitchen, you must choose either the Black or Gold Plan within five business days from the effective date of the transfer. If a meal plan is not chosen, the Gold Plan will be assigned.
