Come and visit the Street Hawk food truck!

Our newest dining operation is ready for business. The Street Hawk food truck debuted on the T. Anne Cleary Walkway on Tuesday, Sept 6. Students with meal plans can use their flex meal swipes to purchase a meal at the truck. Credit card, UI Charge and Hawk Dollars are also accepted. Hours of service are Monday – Friday, 11 am – 3 pm, regardless of the weather.

The menu includes BBQ bacon burger, buffalo fried chicken sandwich, a featured taco, smoked meat sandwich, homemade falafel sandwich (vegetarian) and freshly made potato chips. Bottled Coke products, cookies and gluten free buns are also available.

According to the Director of University Dining, Jill Irvin, “We’re happy to add the Street Hawk to the expanding list of locations that offer flex meals. We really hope the students enjoy the unique menu options and find it to be a convenient alternative to the Market Places.”

The Street Hawk has been a much anticipated addition to the other 15 dining locations on campus. It will be the eighth location that offers flex meals and it’s expected to ease the congestion at Burge Market Place.
